Highlighting Our Amazing Team in India – and the Importance of Teamwork

Teamwork and collaboration are the foundational pillars of non-profit success.
Our amazing team in India – made up of Radhika Atluri (Director), Polu Chandrashekar Reddy (Operations Manager) and Himabindu Aligati (Admin Assistant) – is certainly proof of this!
Director Radhika Atluri joined the Carnevali Foundation in 2008 and has steadily and confidently expanded programs with her team. Her keen ability to identify new schools to adopt, interface with government officials and offices, plan the work, oversee costs (always staying on budget) and tackle the many unexpected challenges that always come up make her truly indispensable to the success of CF’s non-profit work in India.
Most recently, she has been establishing strategies for teaching parents how to read, helping to reinforce the Foundation’s lifelong learning model.

Chandrashekar initially worked at the Yellammabanda School (the first school adopted by CF in India in 2004) and then became our Operations Manager, with oversight of buildings and grounds, new construction, renovations and maintenance. At Yellammabanda, he was instrumental in establishing “Annual Day Events.” Students performed, achievement awards were given, and everyone enjoyed a special meal of chicken biryani.
Hima Bindu, who officially joined the Foundation in 2022, was formerly a CF student. From a young age, she was a person well known for making personal connections within and outside the organization. Bindu’s latest contribution has been to enhance our Foundation’s achievements through social media. She also supports our grads attending higher ed programs through routine visits.

Recently, the Team in India coordinated the launch of the new dedicated Carnevali Foundation India Website. Radhika and Hima Bindu worked alongside our resources in Italy and the US – across three time zones – to quickly and efficiently define local requirements and deploy the new website, which will be instrumental to the Foundation’s upcoming projects and future fundraising plans.
In today’s fast-paced and ever-evolving work environment, success often hinges on the ability to collaborate and work effectively within teams. While individual performance is important, the collective effort of a team can amplify productivity, foster innovation, and provide a solid foundation for achieving organizational goals. Understanding the value of teamwork, the benefits it brings, and the strategies for fostering strong collaborative environments is essential for individuals and organizations aiming for long-term success.
